Job Summary/Basic Function:

This position serves in raising financial support for Boise State University development teams. Manage day-to-day parking and seating requests, upgrades and fulfillment, assist with annual giving programs to increase funding.

Level Scope:

Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self-development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.

Essential Functions:

● Acquire new members for the Bronco Athletic Association (BAA) primarily through outbound sales of season tickets for all Boise State Athletics ticketed sports, including Men’s Basketball and Football - mainly via phone calls, emails, text messages, and virtual meetings.
● Educate prospective and current members about the role of the BAA and the ways they can enhance their membership experience (i.e., Priority Ranking, Priority Points, Giving Levels, Membership Benefits, Seat Upgrade Process, Premium Seating, Parking Passes, Away Games, Postseason Access, etc.)
● Cultivate relationships with current donors to provide excellent service, ensure benefit fulfillment, retain their support, and increase their philanthropic giving.
● Identify prospects with a large giving capacity and connect them with our Major Gifts team for specialized cultivation opportunities.
● Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Conference, and Boise State Rules Compliance.
● Expected to attend events (e.g., home sporting events, fan events, grassroot events, marketing events) which include nights and weekends.
● Assist with creating campaigns related to growing membership and increasing revenue.
● Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual external metrics for the department.
● This position will be required to work a non-traditional schedule which can include extended days and hours, holidays and weekends.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

● Donor experience in the areas of identification, cultivation, and solicitation. Must be able to develop good relationships with prospective/current donors.
● Ability to manage prospects from identification through the entire cultivation process leading into stewardship.
● High level of interpersonal skills.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle sensitive situations.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
● Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

● One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in a collegiate or professional sports office environment.
● One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in an outbound, revenue generation role.
● Familiarity with ticketing and donation software.

Salary and Benefits:
