Job Summary:
This role is responsible for leading teams in building a central Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework to enable an integrated experience across the College’s systems and platforms. This position works closely with the Information Security team to review, improve, maintain the overall security program, and manage compliance with the College’s information management and security strategies and policies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements* ⦁ Ensures appropriate user access to systems, applications, and data based on role, at the appropriate time and in accordance with established security and compliance standards ⦁ Transitions current group and individual-based security and access controls to Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) ⦁ Designs, develops, and validates IAM interfaces to applications ⦁ Manages service delivery performance for the Identity and Access Management lifecycle ⦁ Manages manual user access provisioning and deprovisioning processes in accordance with established policies and procedures ⦁ Ensures the quality and integrity of critical access controls in alignment with established security and compliance standards ⦁ Collaborates with the broader IT team to implement logged elevated access controls for all IT administrative functions ⦁ Aligns Information Security policies, standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with the strategic IAM vision ⦁ Works with the security team to assist in any compliance or forensic investigations ⦁ Provides a periodic review of external service provider to ensure IAM services are following industry best practices
Service Excellence ⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements ⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute ⦁ Supports the mission, values, and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
Supervision Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor's degree and five (5) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience related to Enterprise Identity Management within the past ten (10) years ⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience within IT or an Identity Access role in a higher education environment within the past ten (10) years ⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience implementing RBAC in enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms as well as Microsoft 365 and Azure ⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience building IAM or Cloud IAM programs from the ground up, including all aspects of people, process, and technology ⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience planning and leading internal and external teams, projects or processes ⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience implementing IT controls in alignment with Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) guidelines and standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
⦁ Knowledge of IAM principles across cloud and on-premises enterprise environments, including authentication and authorization frameworks for external users and clients ⦁ Skilled in leading, organizing, and prioritizing multiple concurrent tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy while effectively managing time, resources, and stakeholder needs ⦁ Skilled in the advanced application of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint ⦁ Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills ⦁ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with individuals across a range of technical skills levels ⦁ Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
