Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for Tarrant County College’s (TCC) Connect accelerated learning initiatives, including weekend college and compressed-term formats. This position oversees program administration, including course scheduling, faculty teaching assignments, budget management, and coordination of program-related events and activities each semester. Additionally, this role serves as the designated evening and weekend campus administrator, ensuring continuity of academic operations, student support, and campus services during extended operating hours.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements* ⦁ Directs course scheduling and faculty teaching assignments for accelerated programs in collaboration with Deans and Department Chairs, ensuring compliance with college policies and procedures ⦁ Collaborates with academic leadership and campus stakeholders to develop, implement, and enhance accelerated programs and delivery models aligned with institutional priorities ⦁ Serves as the designation evening and weekend campus administrator, exercising discretionary authority in emergency, operational, student conduct, and faculty coverage matters ⦁ Develops and manages operational budgets for accelerated programs, ensuring financial responsibility and alignment with institutional goals ⦁ Supervises and evaluates staff and faculty performance, including conducting evening and weekend faculty teaching observations and providing documentation, feedback, and accountability measures in accordance with Academic Affairs guidelines and operational objectives within accelerated programs ⦁ Coordinates marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives for accelerated programs in partnership with internal stakeholders to support enrollment growth and program visibility ⦁ Partners with Student Life and Engagement to develop and assess student engagement and co-curricular initiatives designed for accelerated program students ⦁ Facilitates communication among academic leadership, faculty, and students regarding program-related questions, concerns, grievances, and resolutions ⦁ Develops and analyzes data-informed reports related to enrollment trends, course demand, and space utilization to support strategic planning and operational decision-making
General Supervision and Management ⦁ Provides leadership and oversight for departmental activities, including workforce planning, performance management, process improvement, budgeting, and resource allocation. ⦁ Focuses on achieving departmental and organizational objectives through effective management of people, programs, and operations. ⦁ Leads through supervisors and professional staff by establishing priorities, supporting accountability, and developing team performance.
Service Excellence ⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements ⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) ⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ Master’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience ⦁ Three (3) years of experience supervising direct reports, including assigning work, managing performance, coaching employees, and supporting employee development

⦁ Knowledge of community college philosophy, higher education operations, and applicable State and Federal regulations, including open-door admissions and student-centered practices ⦁ Knowledge of distance education, hybrid learning environments, learning assessment, and continuous improvement practices ⦁ Knowledge of leadership, classroom management, transfer and articulation agreements, and policy development ⦁ Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills ⦁ Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365 platform ⦁ Skilled in successfully leading in a team-centered environment by guiding and motivating others towards achieving organizational goals, while delegating work appropriately to meet College and campus deliverables ⦁ Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization ⦁ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders ⦁ Ability to think critically, analyze data, and provide sound recommendations aligned with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations ⦁ Ability to evaluate outcomes, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and implement effective solutions to enhance programs and operations ⦁ Ability to maintain a high level of diplomacy and tact, establish credibility and trust, and exercise confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information

Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
