Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the overall operation, evaluation, compliance, and continuous improvement of the Toyota Technician Training & Education Network (T-TEN) program as its primary area of responsibility. The position provides year-round leadership for program administration, strategic industry partnerships, workforce development initiatives, work-based learning, and student success activities. Serving as the primary liaison between the College, Toyota Motor North America, participating dealerships, and other stakeholders, this role ensures compliance with Toyota standards and requirements, supports program quality and sustainability, and advances workforce outcomes aligned with College and industry needs. As assigned, the position also provides technical and operational support for other manufacturer-sponsored automotive programs, industry partnerships, apprenticeship initiatives, and related workforce education activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements ⦁ Oversees the day-to-day operations of the T-TEN program, ensuring alignment with College objectives and Toyota program requirements ⦁ Assesses, plans, and manages program facilities, equipment, instructional resources, and budget resources to support program effectiveness and fiscal responsibility ⦁ Ensures compliance with Toyota standards, certification requirements, program documentation, reporting obligations, and established deadlines ⦁ Coordinates program assessment, strategic planning, student learning outcomes assessment, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives ⦁ Teaches to support the program, including laboratory and/or didactic instruction ⦁ Supports faculty instructional effectiveness by coordinating certification activities, instructional planning, and alignment with Toyota standards and requirements ⦁ Leads student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and workforce pipeline development activities to support program growth and student success ⦁ Ensures student progression to and achievement of required competencies and program outcomes ⦁ Leads industry partnership and employer engagement efforts by serving as the primary liaison with Toyota Motor North America, participating dealerships, advisory committee members, and other external stakeholders ⦁ Oversees internship and work-based learning activities by coordinating employer partnerships, monitoring student progress, conducting site engagement activities, and ensuring compliance with program requirements ⦁ Coordinates communication, program reviews, certification activities, and implementation of required changes resulting from Toyota standards and program evaluations ⦁ Prepares reports, monitors program performance, and maintains records to support accountability, program quality, and long-term sustainability
General Supervision and Management ⦁ Provides leadership and oversight for program activities, including workforce planning, performance management, process improvement, budgeting, and resource allocation ⦁ Focuses on achieving program and organizational objectives through effective management of program operations, industry partnerships, and workforce development initiatives ⦁ Coordinates the work of faculty, staff, and external stakeholders by establishing priorities, supporting accountability, promoting program effectiveness, and supporting faculty development and certification activities aligned with Toyota program standards and requirements.
Service Excellence ⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements ⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) ⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision Works under the supervision of the assigned campus leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ Associate degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Service Management, Technical Education, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements ⦁ Two (2) years of experience leading, coordinating, or administering an automotive, manufacturer-sponsored training, apprenticeship, internship, workforce development, or comparable technical education program ⦁ Two (2) years of experience developing and maintaining partnerships with employers, dealerships, manufacturers, industry representatives, or other external stakeholders ⦁ Two (2) years of experience managing program operations involving compliance requirements, documentation, reporting, credentialing, audits/program reviews, or other quality-assurance processes ⦁ Current Toyota-recognized technical certification or the ability to obtain and maintain required Toyota T-TEN Program Coordinator credentials within one (1) year of employment

Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Automotive Service Management, Business Administration, Workforce Development, Technical Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field ⦁ Three (3) or more years of experience serving in a leadership capacity within a Toyota T-TEN, TECS Elite, or comparable OEM-sponsored automotive training program ⦁ One (1) year's working experience serving as a T-TEN Program Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, automotive program director/coordinator, department chair, lead instructor, dealership service leader, or OEM technical trainer ⦁ One (1) year's working experience managing student recruitment, dealership placement, internship completion, student certification, and employment transition within an automotive or workforce program ⦁ One (1) year's working experience leading program reviews, corrective-action plans, compliance monitoring, accreditation, ASE Education Foundation requirements, or OEM program standards ⦁ Toyota Instructor Certification and/or completion of Toyota T-TEN Coordinator Training ⦁ ASE Master Automobile Technician Certification (A1–A8) ⦁ ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist Certification ⦁ Toyota Master Technician or Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician certification
