Staff Graduate Assistant in Ypsilanti
With the oversight of one or more staff members, provide career related assistance (resume reviews, major exploration, mock interviews, general job search and career planning tips) to prospective, undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni. Provide assistance to career staff with job fair and event preparation, SOAR, and other student career events, as well as assist with marketing and implementation of events. Support the UACDC at tabling events as a departmental ambassador as well as front desk, and drop-in services as needed. Represent the UACDC at conferences and meetings on or off campus.

The Department Head provides strategic leadership to ensure success through the development and direction of the academic department and support of its faculty, staff, and students. The Department Head is a 12-month, on-going and renewable appointment in the Administrative Professional (AP) series at EMU with a right of return to the Faculty (with tenure and rank upon review of qualifications). The Department Head reports directly to the Dean of the College. Eastern Michigan University offers competitive salary and benefits.
