    • Coordinator, Artist & Events in Richmond Campus

      The Artist and Event Services Coordinator, Center for the Arts at Eastern Kentucky University, directs the operation of all events for a two-theatre, multi-purpose facility to include back-of-house, volunteer and rental operations. The Artist and Event Services Coordinator coordinates and oversees artist service details, residency activities and community performances. The incumbent will manage budget and expenses and coordinate activities with others to effectively execute all Center events in compliance with event contracts. The incumbent serves as the on-site manager in charge back-of-house hospitality operations at all events and represents the Center. The Artist and Event Services Coordinator develops and implements event management strategies that encourage repeat customers by creating an excellent overall customer experience. This position will assist as back up assistance with box office operations.

    • Specialist, Relocation in Richmond Campus

      The Relocation Specialist's primary responsibilities of this position are coordination and set up of University-related events, including event setup/installation and subsequent take-down/removal of all equipment and materials, including general cleanup and restoration of rooms and areas after conclusion of event. University-related events include but are not limited to events booked by the University's Conferences and Events Center, and other University departments (setting up graduations, weddings, banquets etc.) Secondary responsibilities include delivering items to campus and to departments across campus, such as boxed or pallet shipping. Sometimes off campus pickup and delivery. Pickup and delivery of office furniture, and occasionally resident hall furniture. The Relocation specialist position is a part of Facilities Management that serves the campus community. This includes but is not limited to helping with departments or other facility shops to ensure the campus has successful and efficient outcomes.

    • Operator, Motor Vehicle in Richmond Campus

      An EKU Motor Vehicle Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of his/her assigned vehicle as well as assisting with the maintenance of the university's fleet.

    • Interior Finisher I in Richmond Campus

      An EKU Interior Finisher Tech I completes initial construction and repairs of university floors, walls, and ceilings. Interior Finisher Tech I will have knowledge and abilities to work with various finish materials such as ceramic, plaster, drywall, paint, caulk, VCT, LVT, Carpet, etc. This position will work closely with the Craft Foreman and Structural Supervisor to complete work orders assigned in a quality, timely, and safe manner.
