Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Protection and Permanency Learning and Development Facilitator will create, develop and deliver Protection and Permanency training based on assessed needs using in-house resources as well as those available outside the Training Branch such as universities, experts in their fields, private contractors, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Master's preferred.

Experience: At least three years of related experience in Protection and Permanency required. Proficiency in using the TWIST system is preferred.

Job Duties:

  • 60% - The Facilitator will train staff and others identified by the contracting agency. The Facilitator will provide virtual and in person instruction to various size groups as identified by the contracting agency. - ()
  • 30% - The Facilitator is responsible for assisting or leading in development of new training materials, as well as revisions to training materials as a result of changing policies and/or procedures, initiatives, or other requests from the contracting agency. Training Facilitator will remain up to date on quality training methods and incorporate those into new and existing training opportunities: asynchronous, synchronous, face to face, microlearning, and other methods identified by the TRC leadership or the contracting agency. - ()
  • 5% - The Facilitator will provide feedback to supervisors on employee performance during training events, as requested by the Assistant Director. The Facilitator will review training evaluation results and provide written input for making adjustments to enhance the quality of training provided. - ()
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor - ()

The funding for this position is from federal and/or state funds and is subject to annual renewal. This is a contract EKU position.
