Job Summary/Basic Functions

Teaches part-time for the aviation program at Eastern Kentucky University. Primary responsibility is to teach various aviation academic and ground school courses as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Aviation or related field or at least two years of work experience in aviation.

Licensure & Certifications: As required by FAA to teach applicable ground school classes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred -
For pilot ground schools - Applicable flight certifications for the ground school classes interested in teaching.
For UAS-related classes - FAA part 107 certification
Other aviation academic classes - certification as applicable
 

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
