Job Summary/Basic Functions

Model part-time athletic trainers are seasonal or temporary appointments. Athletic trainers will provide medical coverage for Model Laboratory Schools athletic events and student-athletes. Trainers will attend athletic events and, if an athlete is injured, assess and treat the injury in accordance with athletic training medical practices and/or recommend follow-up treatment, as appropriate. Trainers must be licensed in Kentucky, NATABOC certified and show evidence of current liability insurance coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in athletic training

Experience:

Licensure & Certifications: NATABOC Certification; Kentucky Licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful experience as an athletic training
