Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Practicum Coordinator provides enabling support to the BSW and MSW Practicum Directors to manage the practicum program for all SOWK students. This Coordinator oversees the pre-practicum application process, the upkeep of the practicum management system (Tevera) and support of students during practicum placements. This includes developing and maintaining needed document, monitoring practicum hours, data input, problem-solving and collecting evaluation materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Social Work)

Experience: Experience with field education software

Licensure & Certifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• MSW
• Experience with field education software

Job Duties:

  • 60% - Partners with Practicum Directors provide enabling support for Programs. - (Essential)
  • 35% - Provides excellent customer service by interacting with and assisting students and participating agencies in a professional manner. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
