Job Summary/Basic Functions

The ICCA Outreach Coordinator is responsible for managing and promoting arts education programming, coordinating multimedia production for ICCA promotional and recruitment efforts, and supporting recruiting and fundraising initiatives. This position requires a strong passion for the arts, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree required

Experience: · At least one year’s experience in television or commercial film production.
· Can create multimedia promotional materials through the pre-production, production, and post-production process.
· Can create and implement social media promotions.
· Can provide support with theatre and arts productions.
· Can manage remote, location, and studio production of arts and broadcast programming, including control room, tri-caster, sound board, and lighting.
· Can oversee student production assistants.
· Can catalog and archive production footage.
· Supporting skills: event planning, fundraising, etc.

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Arts Education/Outreach - Manage and promote arts education programming such as the Appalachian Shakespeare Center, Loose Canon Project (LCP), Shakespeare Summer Camp, and all AppShakes productions. Assist in the productions of EKU Musical Theatre and work with staff of Appalachian Shakespeare Center. - (Essential)
  • 35% - Coordinate the planning, production, postproduction, and delivery of multimedia products that can be used throughout ICCA promotional and recruitment purposes. Training students to support videotaping and editing video from ICCA events - (Essential)
  • 20% - Archive recordings and multimedia products with the Library. Support recruiting efforts and fundraising events for ICCA. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects of assigned - (Essential)
