Job Summary/Basic Functions

Provides professional administrative support to the department through coordination, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Assists with conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests. May also assist in the training and technical direction to lower-level clerical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Certification or graduation from a four (4) year college or university is required.

Experience: Three years of progressively responsible clerical, secretarial and/ or administrative support is required.

Job Duties:

  • 65% - Performs multiple duties, which are a mix of administrative support in nature, which may include, but are not limited to, data gathering, data management, internal and external communication, filing, calendar management, registration, mail distribution, a - (Essential)
  • 15% - Provides professional services in support of the department/program goals. - (Essential)
  • 15% - Supports the coordination and/or scheduling of special events for department functions or related activities. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
