Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Director of Athletics Development reports to and assists the Executive Director of Athletics Development, and is responsible for multiple aspects of development operations, including annual fund and sport-specific fundraising, event operations and management, including game day & special event planning & execution and day-to-day operations of the athletics fundraising arm.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: One year of experience in corporate sponsorship or development is required; Two years is preferred.

Job Duties:

  • 40% - Annual fund planning and execution - (Essential)
  • 20% - Support head coaches with sport-specific fundraising efforts - (Essential)
  • 20% - Assisting with special development and hospitality events, while also supporting the general Athletics Department operations by assisting with game day and event operations. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Day-to-day development operations, including donor relations and stewardship - (Essential)
