Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Student Graphic Designer in the Institute for Creative and Collaborative Arts will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations. This is a part-time position designed for a current student with a passion for graphic design and technology.
Education Requirement:
● Must have completed DES 250, 350, 351.

Responsibilities include:
● Student Communications: Design and organize digital and printed communications, including newsletters, flyers, and posters for departmental events and announcements. Ensure communications align with the University's branding and visual identity.
● Equipment: Keep track of equipment assigned as part of your duties. Ensure all equipment is in working order.
● Resource Organization: Assist in organizing design resources, including digital assets, stock images, and design software libraries.
● Archiving: Properly name/label materials that need to be transferred and archived to the Campus Library Archives. Follow the University Retention Schedule.
● Event Support: Assist in setting up for departmental events, exhibitions, and student showcases, ensuring the necessary equipment and materials are available and in working order.

The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design skills, technical proficiency in Mac systems and design software, excellent organizational abilities, and a customer-service mindset. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic academic setting while contributing to the success of the Institute for Creative and Collaborative Arts.

Education: Must have completed DES 250,350, and 351

Experience:

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU
