Job Summary/Basic Functions Position will design and implement innovative and research-based instruction for secondary or middle grades science students in physics or chemistry in a laboratory school environment. In addition to providing daily instruction, the teacher will also be responsible for general duties of student supervision, as well as mentoring and instruction of university pre-service teachers. The successful candidate will be willing to support extracurricular opportunities for Model school students and other related functions as required. Faculty must also meet physical requirements such as standing, walking and lifting at least 40 pounds. |
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or above with teacher certification in subject area Experience: Licensure & Certifications: Kentucky certification for teaching secondary or middle grades science in the area of physics or chemistry |
