Job Summary/Basic Functions The Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life is responsible for the overall development, assessment, evaluation, and management of the University Housing and Residence Life programs and budgets. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining crisis management processes and procedures for the department. |
Minimum Qualifications Education: Master's degree in Student Personnel, Counseling, or related field required. Experience: Five full-time work experience in developing, administering, and evaluating university housing programs. Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop sizable staff of professionals, support staff, and students. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in the development and articulation of a housing program rooted in a philosophy of student educational growth and development. Demonstrated capacity for professional growth and development, which includes a cohesive vision of a housing program at the University level. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff and faculty, including active collaboration with senior administrators of the University and appropriate community and business personnel.
