Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Coordinator serves a member of the Student Life & First-Year Experience (SL&FYE) team. Primary responsibilities include facility reservations for registered student organizations, the Powell Student Center, and Powell Plaza; coordination of events and planning logistics; managing and maintaining department technology. This position also assists with the management of the Powell Student Center, marketing for the department, and event coverage. They provide support to all SL&FYE areas as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education or related field is required.

Experience: One year of program management experience.

Job Duties:

  • 50% - Coordinates the facility reservations for the Powell Student Center, Powell Plaza spaces, student organizations (RSOs). Assist with management and maintenance of department technology. Assists with the management of the Powell Student Center. - ()
  • 30% - Coordinates event planning logistics for Powell Student Center and Powell Plaza spaces, and with RSOs (in relation to their reservations). Provide event coverage as needed for department, RSOs, and building. - ()
  • 20% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
