Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Football Coach will assist the head coach in the administration of a Division I intercollegiate Football program in adherence with all university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations to include but not limited to: coaching; recruiting; monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes; interactions with parents, boosters, and other constituents; marketing; involvement with camps/clinics; and other duties as assigned by the head coach

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree is required

Experience: Two years of collegiate coaching experience or seven years of high school coaching.

Job Duties:

  • 50% - Recruiting and Development of Student Athletes. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Instruction and Coaching of Student Athletes - (Essential)
  • 10% - Academics/Compliance/Business office internal paperwork. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Camps and Clinics on campus. - (Marginal)
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned by Football Head Coach, sports admin, and athletic director. - (Marginal)
