Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Associate Tennis Head Coach will assist the head coach in the administration of a Division I intercollegiate tennis programs that complies with the mission, guidelines, rules and regulations of the University, the conference, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). More specifically, this person is responsible for, but not limited to implementing strategies for team and player development, on and off campus recruiting activities, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, interacting with internal and external constituents, administration of camps/clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics, sport administrator and/or head coach.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: Two years of experience is required. Collegiate playing experience is required.

Job Duties:

  • 50% - Recruiting and Development of student athletes - (Essential)
  • 25% - Instruction and Coaching of student athletes. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Academics/Compliance/Business office internal paperwork - (Essential)
  • 10% - Camps and clinics on campus. - (Marginal)
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned by Head Softball Coach, sport admin, and athletic director. - (Marginal)
