Staff Psychologist in Richmond Campus
An EKU Staff Psychologist assists in the mission of the Counseling Center by promoting personal, social, and career development of EKU students. A Staff Psychologist provides the full range of counseling center services: individual and group counseling, assessment, career counseling, , outreach, education/training of the university community on early detection of distressed students and how to refer, crisis intervention, consultation, referral, supervision, and outcome research. Providing the standard of care services and adhering to professional standards is highly emphasized, including the maintenance of appropriate clinical documentation according to established protocol. Utilizes relevant assessment/diagnostic tools for identification of needs of client. Rotates coverage of after-hours on-call phone. Other duties as assigned by the Director.
