Job Summary: The athletics department at Drake University is currently seeking applicants for an Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Development to provide support for the academic and personal development of all student-athletes. |
Minimum Qualifications: • Baccalaureate Degree – knowledge of specialized principles or techniques normally obtained through a four-year college/university academic program or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program directly related to the type of work being performed |
Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree |
Job Duties: 45% - Manage academic support and continuing eligibility of student-athletes on designated teams in consultation with the Senior Associate Athletics Director. - (Essential) 30% - Design and implement Bulldog Way Life Skills programming. - (Essential) 15% - Prepare and distribute communications to athletics staff and other partners, as assigned. - (Essential) 5% - Co-advise the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. - (Essential) 5% - Refer student-athletes to campus resources, and perform other duties, as assigned. - (Essential) |
