Job Summary: The Student Services Coordinator is a critical member of the SOE administrative team. The person in this role serves as the lead administrative assistant for the Building Leaders in Urban Education (BLUE) program and our off-campus cohort programs. |

Job Duties: 40% - Coordinate services for Building Leaders in Urban Education (BLUE) program students, including making independent judgment and decisions. Responsibilities include: lead orientation and create orientation materials for new cohorts; create onboarding materials including digital and print materials; create materials for board and other community information session sessions; maintain cohort records and update each semester or as needed; order textbooks and main inventory for the program as needed; research new texts for faculty use. Collaborate with adjuncts on current course reading materials; obtain parking passes and IDs for cohorts; serve as primary contact for cohort student inquiries; order supplies for program as needed; assist adjuncts; keep records of registration and help with registration as needed; problem solve student advising questions and concerns by utilizing knowledge of all endorsement and BOEE requirements; order books for students; code credit card purchases on own P-card; develop and execute projects and special events such as alumni night; direct BLUE Capstone Night. - (Essential) 15% - Coordinate communication with the Office of the Registrar regarding SOE graduate students to register students, clear degrees for graduation, prepare the commencement booklet, and other duties that involve collaboration with the Office of the Registrar. - (Essential) 15% - Process candidacy petitions and follow up with advisors and students. - (Essential) 10% - Develop and disseminate all internal facing communication to students, faculty, and staff, including weekly newsletters and recurring deadlines. - (Essential) 10% - Off-campus Cohort Support: provide support for students in School of Education off-campus graduate programs. - (Essential) 10% - Student Support: Provide support for students seeking to complete forms, such as unofficial endorsement checks, candidate petitions, credit transfers, curriculum library access and checkout. Supervise student workers, including, but not limited to, training, workflow, timesheets, etc. and plan all program related special events. - (Essential) |

This is a full-time, hourly position. The final offered hourly rate will be competitive and commensurate with the experiences of the selected candidate.
