Job Summary: We are looking for an individual who is passionate about enhancing the health care workforce by providing exceptional training and experiences! The nursing faculty will work with the Nursing Program Director to support the effective management, coordination, and development of a new Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program. The ABSN program will be part of the growing, innovative, and interprofessional Health Sciences department within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University, in collaboration with Broadlawns Medical Center. We invite applications from talented, engaged, and passionate faculty to build this new program. We seek faculty who will work closely with colleagues, staff, students, and external stakeholders to ensure the program's success and continuous improvement. We are particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Candidates should be interested in and qualified to teach a variety of nursing and/or healthcare courses including, but not limited to: • Introduction to Professional Nursing • Care Management Concepts I, II, III • Research in Nursing • Leadership and Transition to Professional Nursing • Population Based Health • Health Policy & Advocacy • Patient Assessment |

Job Duties: Core responsibilities for these positions include: supporting student success by teaching nursing didactic and laboratory courses, scholarship, and supervising student clinicals. Other duties include student advising/mentoring, committee service and other duties as assigned by the Dean of CPHS, the Health Sciences department chair, and/or the Nursing Program Director. |
