Department Summary:

The Kinesiology Program is housed within the Biology Department, which is administered within the College of Arts & Sciences. The Biology Department includes faculty with expertise across both vertical (from molecules to organisms) and horizontal (from viruses to humans) dimensions, including both basic and applied sciences. The kinesiology curriculum emphasizes anatomy and physiology. After graduation, the top three career trajectories of kinesiology majors have been physical therapy school, kinesiology graduate school (most often to become strength & conditioning coaches or trainers), or direct entry into the training field.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an adjunct to teach Motor Control and Learning lecture and lab in the fall semester. Successful candidates may be asked for availability to adjunct in the spring for either Biomechanics or Exercise Physiology (both lecture and lab). There are no research or service expectations for this adjunct position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a master’s degree or higher in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD or EDD in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply, as are those holding DPT or DC degrees.
