The Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs is responsible for managing, operationalizing and supporting faculty-related policies, procedures, and functions. This includes overseeing the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance, the Center for Teaching and Learning, new faculty hiring and orientation, new chair training, facilitating Academic Chair and Associate Dean meetings, convening a Graduate Council, and serving as the primary liaison between academic departments, the Provost’s Office and Global Affairs to support transnational programs and study abroad, as well as other duties as assigned. This position will report directly to the Provost and will come with no required teaching responsibilities and an additional stipend. The initial term is for three years and can be renewed.
