Reporting to the Director of Video Production, the Assistant Director will assist with day-to-day operations of Drake University Video Production, primarily in support of ESPN+ and In-Venue presentations. The Assistant Director will also setup shows, train and supervise student production crew, and assist with creation of in-venue and team video content. Drake Athletics is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Director of Facilities, Events, and Operations. Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director for Finance and Operations, the Director will be responsible for the scheduling and operations of all Drake University's athletics facilities. The position supervises two full-time staff members, interns, and student staff. The Director is a leadership position within the department and will attend monthly department head meetings led by the Athletics Director. The position will serve as a liaison with Des Moines Public Schools at Mediacom Stadium and community organizations hosting events in Drake Athletics facilities. The Director will have a significant role in the operation of the Drake Relays and Conference/NCAA Championships, along with outside events, which include examples such as the Iowa High School State Track Meet and the AAU Junior Olympics. The Director of Facilities, Events, and Operations plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing Intercollegiate Athletics facilities, with a focus on safety, functionality, and aesthetics. Responsible for ensuring facilities are at or above Division I expectations. This position will work nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. Other duties as assigned.

Faculty in the OTD program teach 11-13 credits annually and are expected to engage in academic and professional service to advance the college, University and the profession, and scholarship, including dissemination of the results. Duties will include overseeing faculty-student research projects, including determining project groups; mentoring junior faculty scholarship development; and developing and maintaining a fundable line of scholarship.
