Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): teaching courses in the musical theatre curriculum including applied voice lessons and music theory; directing one musical per year as part of our Main Stage season; music directing two productions annually, advising and mentoring student performances and assisting in recruiting and committee work. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree in musical theatre, experience teaching and directing at the university level and professional performance experience. The search committee is particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, performance, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equipment management within an NCAA Division I athletics program. This is a 5-month temporary position. Job Responsibilities: • Assist the Director of Equipment Operations with the day-to-day management and preparation for athletic events and team practices, primarily for the 2025-26 football season. • Support equipment inventory, maintenance, and distribution for most, but not all, Drake Athletics teams. • Gain some exposure to the administrative functions of an intercollegiate athletics program, including personnel management and operational logistics. • Perform other duties as assigned to support the athletics department.
