About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Manager – Property, Facilities and Fleet to lead a high-performing national team of 14, including five direct reports. This pivotal role is responsible for managing and enhancing NHVR’s property and fleet portfolio, including site acquisitions, leasing, facilities management, and fleet strategy. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering a national strategy that ensures consistency, efficiency and long-term sustainability across our property and fleet operations. Reporting to the Director, this role involves a blend of strategic leadership and operational oversight, and includes regular interstate travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage NHVR’s national property portfolio, including leasing, renewals, fit-outs, and facilities maintenance.
- Lead the transformation of our property and fleet function, driving innovation, consistency and alignment with NHVR’s sustainability goals.
- Oversee fleet operations, including procurement, utilisation, maintenance, and vehicle lifecycle planning.
- Ensure all sites are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose, supporting business continuity and employee wellbeing.
- Monitor budgets and forecast spend across property and fleet to ensure cost-effective and sustainable outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive operational consistency and efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build strong supplier relationships and manage contracts to ensure service quality and value for money.
- Provide expert advice and reporting to senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Apply sound legal judgement to lease negotiations, contract terms, compliance obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.

You’re a commercially astute and results-driven leader with deep expertise in managing complex property, facilities, and fleet portfolios. You thrive on delivering operational improvements and strategic outcomes that align with organisational goals.
With a strong track record in leading high-value projects and transforming service delivery, you bring deep experience in property and fleet planning, budgeting, risk management, and contract negotiation. Your strengths lie in translating complex information into clear, actionable strategies, and in leading high-performing teams through change and growth.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations will be critical to your success in this national leadership role.
