Job Duties

Virginia Military Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse on an as needed basis.

Job Duties:
• Provides nursing services for 1,700 students.
• conducts initial patient assessments, monitors changes in condition, administers medications & provides treatments.
• Hours are variable including day, evening and night shifts during the academic year.

Minimum Qualifications

• Some weekend coverage is required.
• One shift per month is required.
• Requires graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Virginia license/eligibility and CPR certified.

Additional Considerations

• Prefer hospital/private office experience.
