Job Duties
VMI is accepting on-line applications for part-time barbers/stylists to provide military-styled haircuts to VMI standards for both male and female cadets. Duty hours will be flexible, greatly reduced during summer months, with major holidays are off. Peak demand during academic year from mid-Aug through mid-May.
Hourly rate from $16 - $20, depending on experience/credentials.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and high school diploma or GED.
• Candidates should hold a current Virginia barber or cosmetology license.
Additional Considerations
Will consider individuals in the Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology Apprentice Program.
