Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HRIS
- Demonstrated experience in managing and analyzing HR data
- Experience with Cardinal HCM
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong understanding of HR metrics and analytics
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
Additional Considerations
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
- Professional Human Resources certification (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP) or data analytics certification preferred
- Familiarity with Virginia state government HR practices and regulations preferred
