Job Duties
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Project Management Center of Excellence Manager in the Customer Experience Division.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop high risk project training.
Support development of risk management reporting and dashboard tools.
Manage agency high risk projects as assigned.
Provide high risk project mentoring and risk management as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Considerable experience in IT leadership managing diverse teams (25+ staff) in high-performance, multi-stakeholder environments.
Considerable experience overseeing enterprise-level, complex projects, programs, and services, with an understanding of complex IT services and solutions using one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google).
Experience in project management strategy development and execution, with measurable success in improving project outcomes.
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of progressive organizational leadership experience.
Expertise in budget planning and management for large organizations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
Considerable experience in leveraging data analytics to guide decision-making and assess outcomes.
Additional Considerations
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field is highly desired.
Training or certification as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other agile roles or methodologies.
Budget Planning and Development for large organizations.
Technical strategy development.
Experience in the State or Federal government as an employee, contractor, or vendor.
