**This is a non-exempt, hourly position without benefits, eligible to work up to 1,500 hours annually (May 1 – April 30). ** 

** This is an onsite position that reports to the office located at 1028 Sykes Boulevard, Vansant VA. This is not a remote work position.**

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of basic insurance rules and regulations; interviewing techniques; and office operations, equipment and etiquette.

Strong customer service, oral and written communication, and computer skills (experience using Microsoft Office and/or similar software).

Ability to interact effectively with employers, clients and the public; discuss, interpret and apply agency standards and procedures; conduct interviews and research; use web-based applications to enter data and conduct database searches; and adapt to changing priorities and workload.

Additional Considerations

Working knowledge of the Unemployment Compensation Act and rules and regulations related to Unemployment Insurance.

Knowledge of the UI claims process and experience providing customer service, conducting interviews, and/or processing claims.
