The Medical Facilities Inspector Supervisor for the Long Term Care Team formally supervises inspectors/surveyors to ensure that inspections/surveys or reviews of health care facilities are performed in accordance with state and federal regulations. May conduct inspections and investigations directly, as needed. Characteristic activities include supervises inspections/surveys and complaint investigation activities, prepares inspector work schedules, reviews inspection/survey reports, address regulations and survey process questions for provider applicants, verifies applications meet regulatory requirements, manages database reflecting changes in licensed and certified health care facilities as well as provides technical assistance to providers.
