  • Student Success Navigator in Memphis

    The Student Success Navigator provides intrusive coaching and structured intervention for first-time freshmen with a high school GPA of 2.2 or lower through the Saluqi Scholars Program. This position ensures students receive proactive academic support, skill-building, and resource navigation to enhance persistence, retention, and academic success. The Navigator tracks student engagement, identifies challenges, and facilitates structured outreach and interventions to ensure students remain on track in their first semester. Additionally, the Navigator works closely with the Saluqi Scholars Peer Mentors to support student engagement and retention efforts. The Navigator collaborates with campus partners, including Admissions, Academic Advising, Career Services, Student Leadership and Engagement, and Financial Aid, to enhance first-semester student programming. The Navigator also works on First Gen Forward Network Leader initiatives to strengthen support for first-generation college students through targeted programming and engagement.

  • Early Alert Manager in Memphis

    The Early Alert Manager oversees the management, tracking, and assessment of the institution’s early alert system to ensure timely and effective interventions for vulnerable students. This position serves as the departmental specialist for case routing, engagement tracking, and intervention follow-up within various platforms, including: Slate (CRM) – Student case management and early alert tracking. Brightspace D2L (LMS) – Student engagement monitoring. Ellucian Banner (ERP/SIS) – Student information system management. Microsoft Forms and Power BI – Survey data collection and intervention analytics. The Early Alert Manager collaborates with faculty, staff, and intervention specialists to ensure early alerts lead to meaningful student support. Additionally, the EAM assists the Director with intervention data reporting and analysis, evaluates the effectiveness of outreach efforts, and informs strategic decision-making.

    A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Faculty also provide academic advising and facilitate student success. Technology tools are routinely used to communicate with and support students.  Faculty participate in divisional and institutional activities related to the college’s mission, engage with communities of interest, and promote college programs. Faculty accepting the appointment of program directors have certain administrative responsibilities in addition to their faculty responsibilities.

    The Practical Nursing instructor is responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to: teaching and supervision of nursing students in on-campus classroom and off-campus clinical settings; evaluating and advising students; maintaining confidential, accurate and complete records on paper and electronically; completing reports as required in a timely manner; participating in the development of the program; participating in the recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; maintaining an active advisory committee; and other duties as assigned.
