General Duties: This position will help ensure the stable operation of the computer networks and educational courseware products across all campuses. Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions The IT Specialist is responsible to perform the following: • PC support – purchasing, setup, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and other support • Network maintenance – troubleshooting and routine maintenance • Website maintenance • General application software support • Microsoft Cloud services support such as Teams and One Drive • Google Cloud services support • Recommend and support purchasing of IT-related equipment • IT asset management – asset tag and inventory • Develop and maintain IT procedures as needed • Support and troubleshooting of the digital signs • User ID management • Work with the Tennessee Board of Regents as needed • Perform environmental monitoring of Data Center • COE accreditation and IT audit support • Data entry and scanning to support the institution • Proctoring tests when needed • Serving as the lead for Accessibility efforts for the institution • Other duties as assigned
