      This is a full-time, fiscal year permanent position within the Department of Advising and Counseling. The Academic Advisor will provide academic guidance and advisement to students on policies, procedures, and program requirements to fulfill a certificate or degree program and assists students in selecting educational and career goals. This position requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Additional hours may be required. Some travel may be required between campus locations.

    • Facilities Support Associate 4, Clarksville in Clarksville

      The Facilities Support Associate 4 performs building maintenance and related work as required in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, painting, carpentry, and HVAC. During inclement weather events or emergency maintenance situations, facilities personnel may be called in to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with a fixed schedule to be set after employment begins. Some travel and work at satellite campuses may be required.

      The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field of auto mechanics. The Automotive Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates and other administrative duties. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is grant-funded and is not a remote position.

      The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville is accepting applications for a full-time Facilities Maintenance & Grounds Technician to support the Franklin County Extension Campus. Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, this position performs routine custodial duties, basic building maintenance, and seasonal groundskeeping to ensure campus facilities and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. This position requires traveling to a designated extension campus one day per week during the mowing season to perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties.
