About the Department: The Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinics are nurse-led interprofessional health centers operated by George Mason University. The MAP clinics serve uninsured and medically underserved populations in Prince William and Fairfax Counties. These clinics deliver non-emergency health care, mental health support, case management, chronic disease education, and social services referrals, while providing essential clinical training for nursing and interprofessional students. |
About the Position: The RN Clinical Specialist provides both direct patient care and clinical oversight at the MAP Manassas site, while supporting additional sites as needed. The RN Clinical Specialist serves as lead nurse and coordinates grant-funded initiatives including integration of nursing students into community-based practice experiences. Responsibilities include overseeing daily clinic nursing operations, implementing grant objectives, precepting BSN students, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, interdisciplinary health care services. |
