Position Summary The English Language Learning program is seeking part-time ESOL instructors to teach weekday evening classes in our English Basic Skills (EBS) program for the upcoming fall semester beginning in September and October. EBS classes range from beginning to high intermediate proficiency levels and focus on developing language competency, life skills, and cultural knowledge. We have a particular need for instructors able to teach in south county (Lothian and Tracy's) but are also seeking instructors to teach in the Glen Burnie, Arnold, and Arundel Mills areas. |

Job Duties and Responsibilities In addition to teaching, instructors are responsible for: assessing and recording student progress and attendance, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades and other administrative tasks, and participating in department professional learning events. |

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in TESOL, education, or related field. |

Preferred Qualifications: Competency in Spanish is a plus. |
