Minimum Qualifications:

For non-credit developmental courses the minimum qualification includes a bachelor’s degree in mathematic or a bachelor’s degree in a closely related field with a teaching certificate in secondary mathematics. For all other courses at the 100 level or higher, a master’s degree in mathematics is required or a master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 credits of graduate level mathematics.
Ability to teach undergraduate students through engaging instruction.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Mathematics.
Three or more years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
Research experience.

Physical Demands:

Ability to manage and deliver instruction for a course over a semester, including timely communication and grading.
