  • Data/Account Clerk IV - Testing Services Coordinator in Michigan

    1) Responsible for operating LSSU Testing Center. 2) Create, adhere to and be knowledgeable of testing policies and procedures. 3) Proctor testing sessions by conducting walk-through observations, and monitoring via camera. 4) Assist testing candidates with the check-in and check-out process 5) Communicate with faculty and staff regarding testing integrity issues 6) Coordinate testing appointments with faculty, request and scan/return tests, and resolve scheduling anomalies as necessary. 7) Schedule student appointments. 8) Work with appropriate departments to make sure special test (TEAS, CLEP, ALEKS, etc.) information is current and update. 9) Maintain confidentiality 10) Communicate with Director on continuous departmental improvement for policies and proceedures. 11) Responsible for input, filing and retrieval of data for assessment and record keeping. 12) Coordinate, support and maintain all technology used in Testing Services. 13) Maintain office filing system and records; maintain office supplies; answer telephone and process mail. 14) Deposit funds weekly to business operations. 15) Type and/or prepare reports, lists, forms, and related documents; proof-read, edit, and review accuracy of material; research and provide information as required; keep records, distribute material, monitor and take action on information as required. 16) Work as an active part of the Library and Academic Services team, collaborating with other staff and functional units. 17) Other duties as assigned.

  • Native American Center Co-Coordinator in Michigan

    Provide welcoming environment for Native American/First Nations and Non-Native students, faculty, staff and community. Event Coordination: Plan, promote, and coordinate campus cultural learning events that foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Native American history, culture, and contemporary issues.     Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, responsible for the overall supervision of the helpdesk including hardware, software, and network support for faculty, staff, and students. • Oversee the day-to-day administration and operation of the helpdesk • Coordinate and prioritize incoming support requests to ensure timely resolution • Hire, schedule, train, and supervise student helpdesk workers • Monitor student worker productivity, attendance, professionalism, and assigned tasks • Ensure tickets are properly assigned, updated, and completed in a timely manner • Serve as a primary point of contact for helpdesk coordination and customer service issues • Maintain organization of hardware inventory, deployments, and surplus equipment • Assist with workstation setup, software installation, and basic troubleshooting as needed • Coordinate computer replacements, office moves, and technology deployments • Provide basic account administration support including password resets and user assistance • Assist with documentation and process improvement for helpdesk operations • Develop technical skills and knowledge related to university-supported systems and technologies • Assist the CIO and IT leadership with operational coordination and departmental support • Other duties as assigned.

  • Nursing Skills Lab Supervisor in Michigan

    Under the supervision of the Nurse Administrator, the Nursing Skills Lab Supervisor supports the operation, organization, and development of the Nursing Skills Lab while assisting with simulation learning activities and environments. Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, inventory, and coordination of nursing lab and simulation equipment, supplies, and learning resources. The position supports faculty and student learning through skills lab preparation, simulation support, technology assistance, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Coordinates daily operations of the Nursing Skills Lab and assists with simulation activities and instructional spaces. Prepares, sets up, tests, and breaks down nursing skills labs and simulation experiences. Operates and assists with simulation technology, audiovisual systems, task trainers, and simulation manikins. Collaborates with faculty to support skills instruction, simulation scenarios, and student learning. Maintains and organizes equipment, supplies, records, and maintenance schedules while ensuring learning spaces remain safe, functional, and compliant with safety and infection control standards. Provides orientation and support for faculty, staff, student employees, and learners using lab and simulation resources. Assists with scheduling, accreditation support, implementation of new technologies, and coordination with community and clinical partners. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Simulation Operations Specialist in Michigan

    The School of Nursing invites applications for a Simulation Operations Specialist to lead and advance the LSSU Superior Simulation Center. Reporting to the School of Nursing Director, the Simulation Operations Specialist provides operational leadership and oversight for simulation-based learning across academic programs, and community partners. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day simulation operations that advance excellence in clinical education and adhere to nationally recognized best practices as defined by INACSL, SSH and others. This position requires a leader who can drive operational excellence and translate strategy into effective and efficient operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ● Proficiency with current healthcare clinical procedures, primarily in nursing or EMED, and related technology. ● Ability to supervise student workers and simulation technicians. ● Supports financial planning efforts and ensures effective management of approved budget allocations. ● Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules. ● Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of faculty, staff, students, and external partners. ● Knowledge of technologies used for simulation including: electrical/technical AV, virtual reality, manikins, and other technologies used for simulation activities. ● Knowledge of current simulation standards for best practice as defined by nationally recognized organizations such as INACSL, SSiH and others. ● Proficient with standard office computer software. ● Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and produce reports. ● Ability to work flexible hours, including potential for some weekend days. ● Ability to travel.
