Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Undergrad student position to assist the Brown-Borg lab with lab upkeep, animal care, lab preparations, data input.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in lab upkeep: glassware cleaning, autoclaving Labe tubes, fill pipet tip boxes Data input, basis statistics, graphing
- Assist in laboratory preparations & assays (PCR, immunoblotting)
- Assist with animal care - (Essential)
Required Competencies
- Knowledge of laboratory safety
- Reliable
- Organized
- Able to work independently
Minimum Requirements
- UND undergraduate student
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry
- Ability to work in a laboratory setting
- Ability with mice
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
