The Herr School of Accountancy in the Nistler College of Business and Public Administration is seeking to hire a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor with a start date in August 2027. The Herr School of Accountancy within the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration offers undergraduate and graduate accounting programs, undergraduate information systems programs, and supports the Master of Business Administration program. Accountancy programs are offered face-to-face and online. Research Lab Assistant in Grand Forks
Work study position available for an undergraduate student to help carry out research on the genetics of temperature-dependent sex determination in the common snapping turtle. The research will examine genetic and environmental effects on sex determination (i.e., whether turtle embryos become male or female). Duties and responsibilities include care of hatchling and juvenile snapping turtles (on a rotating basis among members of the laboratory) and general laboratory cleaning and maintenance. In addition, the successful candidate will help carry out behavioral studies and morphological measurements of the turtles.
