Summary: The Department of Information Technology of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences invites you to apply for the position of System Developer, Sr.
Classification Summary:
Under minimum supervision, may be assisted by entry/junior or intermediate staff responsible for overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.
Classification Standard Duties:
Designs, implements/installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. May have sole responsibility for projects and participate in disaster recovery exercises. Generally focuses on projects for one of the following disciplines: Unix, Windows, AS400, storage, reporting, testing, middleware, or other software.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Infrastructure: Design, implement, maintain, and secure all services regarding authentication, authorization, networking, storage, management, and cloud resources.
System Management: Building support tools to report and manage client, server, and equipment.
Research Support: Building and implement services to support various research.
Backup: Design, implement, and maintain backups for client, servers, and equipment.
