Summary: Elevate AI education at NMSU. Seeking an exceptional Project Manager to collaborate with the Principal Investigator, driving LTs4AI's success through strategic planning and execution.
Classification Summary:
Oversees projects. Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed. Must be familiar with the entire scope and requirements of project(s) and serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.
Classification Standard Duties:
Manages, coordinates, and facilitates projects or phases of a large or complex project. Develops integrated project plans and implementation schedules. May supervise or provide functional direction to staff and/or student employees. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field.; Required Experience:Two (2) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency:Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.; Required Certification/License:

Job Duties and Responsibilities
The project manager will assist the Principal Investigator with running the LTs4AI project
a) Setting up and monitoring contracts, and expenditures.
b) Coordinating the project, timeline, and logistics for research activities.
c) Communicating with the project teams, partnering school districts, out-of-school time youth STEM programs, and the participants (teachers, district STEM leaders, and students via their families). Communicating with advisory board, facilitators, Agaric, Tools developer, and various vendors.
d) Conducting day-to-day financial operations of the project
e) Coordinating efforts of the Advisory Board members who serve as the external evaluators. Supporting AB chair Fred Martin in scheduling and coordinating meetings and work of the AB.
