Job Duties and Responsibilities: The position will have primary responsibility for all front-facing activities of the Department of Geological Sciences and the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies. Responsibilities include triaging and directing visitor inquiries; handling phone and email communications for both departments; processing hiring paperwork; coordinating and administering all departmental financial activities; submitting building maintenance requests and coordinating key access for faculty and students; assisting with departmental scheduling and room reservations; maintaining office supplies and general office operations; managing the production of departmental teaching, outreach, and recruitment materials; and coordinating logistics for departmental events such as colloquia, homecoming activities, and other outreach or academic functions.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.
