Job Duties and Responsibilities: Directs functional work of accounting staff engaged in monitoring and processing all university plant fund expenditures. Oversees accounting for bond issuances, such as initial fund set-up, project tracking, draw down requests, external compliance reports, and financial statement disclosures. Ensures accurate reporting of all capital assets within the university financial statements, including overseeing capital asset additions, transfers, disposals, constructions in progress, and depreciation. Issues annual and closeout property reports and coordinates transfers and disposals of federally owned assets. Prepares or reviews financial statement notes and disclosures, and provides audit support regarding capital assets and plant fund transactions. Supervisory experience preferred.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate’s Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree
+ 2 years of relevant experience.
