Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Director of Digital Experience leads the vision, strategy, and execution of the institution’s digital presence across web, mobile, and emerging platforms. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, this role ensures that digital experiences reflect the institution’s brand, support recruitment and retention, enhance search visibility, strengthen alumni and donor engagement, and elevate the visibility of the university’s academic reputation. The Director will guide digital governance and lead cross-functional coordination with marketing, IT, news, analytics, and academic partners to deliver cohesive, user-centered digital experiences. The ideal candidate combines strategic foresight, technical fluency, strong SEO expertise, and experience managing organizational change to advance digital transformation and ensure a consistent, modern and accessible digital ecosystem — as well as an understanding of the unique needs and audiences of higher education.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate’s Degree + 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 8 years of relevant experience. Master's degree or higher preferred.
