Job Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidates will teach 12 credits (~4 courses) per semester in the general education Writing Program, primarily Composition 1 (ENGL 1110G) and Introduction to Technical and Professional Communication (ENGL 2210G) with assignments in primarily face-to-face courses. Some service/ committee work will be required.

Required Education and Experience:
Required:
-Master’s degree or higher in English, with
a) an emphasis in Writing Studies or Professional and Technical Communication and three or more years of experience teaching writing, preferably in business and professional communication and/or technical and scientific communication; or
b) an emphasis in other subfields of English or Writing Studies with five to ten years of teaching experience in college composition courses, including technical and/or business writing courses
-Ability to teach ENGL 1110G, Composition I, and ENGL 2210G, Technical and Professional Communication.
