Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $43,908.80 - $54,885.74 Commensurate with Qualifications

Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 1.0

FLSA Status: Exempt

Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Job Duties and Responsibilities: HSE Student Success Management
*Provides individualized guidance to students on GED ID creation, testing procedures, score interpretation, and next steps toward credential completion.
*Proactively monitors testing readiness data and conducts targeted outreach to move students from GED Ready to official test completion.

Professional Development and Collaboration:
*Develop a professional learning plan.
*Ensure completion of the professional learning plan.

Instructional Coordination:
*Collaborates with HSE instructional staff to align testing data with classroom instruction and readiness benchmarks.
*Provides instructors with timely testing updates, score reports, and performance insights to support differentiated instruction.
*Assists in identifying trends in student performance to inform curriculum adjustments and targeted intervention strategies.

Assessment Data Integrity
*Ensures accurate and timely entry of GED IDs, testing outcomes, and related assessment data in LACES and other required systesm.
*Monitors HSE testing data for completeness, discrepancies, and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.
*Generates and analyzes reports to inform instructional placement, measurable skill gains (MSGs), and program performance benchmarks.

HSE Instructional Alignment
*Participates in continuous program improvement efforts by analyzing testing patterns, identifying barriers to completion, and recommending process enhancements.
*Develops and refines workflows related to testing logistics, documentation, and student communication.
*Serves as the central point of coordination between students, instructors, testing centers, and administration regarding HSE testing operations.


General responsibilities
*Use project management life-cycle and process improvement methodologies to manage responsibilities.
*Think flexibly as needed to address new priorities within a dynamic department, understanding that other duties will be required to ensure the team and department meets its goals.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate’s Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree
+ 2 years of relevant experience.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
